Lighting company Robert Juliat reported a successful appearance at LDI Las Vegas 2024. Partnering with its exclusive North America and Canada distributor ACT Entertainment, Robert Juliat showcased innovative and quality LED lighting solutions that captured the attention of lighting professionals across the industry.
Founded in 1919, Robert Juliat is a 100% family-owned company specialising in high-quality stage lighting with superb optics and ergonomic design. It is a world leader in the manufacture of followspots and also produces profiles, Fresnels, PCs, ambient projectors, dimmers, and DMX tools. All of its luminaries are designed and made in France.
Robert Juliat’s latest LED followspots took centre stage, offering versatile solutions for venues of all sizes. Three products were demonstrated—the Sully 10.5-22.5° (115W LED) for smaller spaces, the Tristan 7-14.5° (825W LED) for mid-sized venues, and the Arthur LT 4-10° (800W LED) for large-scale applications.
In particular, the Tristan followspot proved to be a standout success; with its compact body and powerful 825W LED engine, Tristan rivals the performance of traditional 1800W MSR followspots. The highlight of this model is its motorised iris, allowing users to create precise iris presets for enhanced creative control. With its versatility, Tristan excels in the front of house, truss, and backlight positions.
The Bizet 670SX profile spot marked its debut in the United States and drew significant interest as a powerful tunable white LED profile spot. Designed for front of house applications, Bizet boasts a CRI of 96-98 and a TM30 Rf of 94-96 and ensures superior colour rendering, delivering high-quality whites and precision lighting.
Attendees were also treated to an exclusive first look at the upcoming Lexie followspot. Though compact in size, Lexie has a powerful output that features a 400W LED engine, delivering approximately 15,000 lumens with a crisp 6500K cool white source. Its official launch is slated for early 2025 at major European trade shows.
