Eton Properties Philippines Inc (EPPI) has unveiled its plan to build an integrated township development in Central Visayas and expand its community components at Eton City in the south of Metro Manila.

In Central Visayas, the new integrated township will cover approximately 35 ha located in Lapu-Lapu City in Mactan Island, Cebu. It will feature a seaside lifestyle community, with a 600 m beachfront, plus an internal lagoon area.

The masterplan design of the new township will revitalise the fast-emerging district for business and leisure of the city, while maintaining the natural flora and fauna of the surroundings, revealed Eton Properties. It will also offer residential and office facilities and amenities, mid-rise condominiums, upscale hotels, business process outsourcing (BPO) buildings, as well as a commercial and retail centre.

“We will make the best use of the site’s natural characteristics by preserving the natural environment while undertaking the multi-brand positioning for the future growth markets through various business segments,” explained Kyle C. Tan, president and CEO of Eton Properties. “This project will be envisioned as the next business and leisure destination in one secured and exclusive community in Cebu.”

Eton Properties said the new township is still in the planning stage, and will leverage partnerships and joint ventures to further scale the market’s needs and support nation-building.

Meanwhile, the 641-ha Eton City in the south of Metro Manila will soon be transformed into a world-class business district that caters to the burgeoning office demand for Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM), added Eton Properties.

“There are so many opportunities in Eton City, and we are willing to take our strategies to adapt to the global standards by incorporating digital technology, world-class designs, and connectivity into its communities,” said Mr Tan.

Located in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Eton City is expected to become the most exciting business tourism and residential district in the south of Metro Manila. The area also has its own commercial and retail district, Eton City Square, with four residential villages including TierraBela, West Wing Residences, South Lake Village and RiverBend.
